Some cracking beer pairings with Soffle's!

When we went down to London Beer City we came across a fantastic snack called Soffle's which is taking the London beer scene by storm! A fantastic combo of oven roasted pitta chips, great ingredients and tasty dips, these are the perfect match for good beers. So we decided to pair them up with a couple of our favourite brews!..

Mild/ Wild Chilli & Garlicw/ Fourpure Brewing Juicebox Citrus IPA

[su_row][su_column size="1/2"]Soffles pitta chips, beer and food pairing for the Beer Yeti review, London Craft Beer[/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]There’s two variations to these chips, “Mild and” “Wild” which is SUPER HOT. We paired this with Juicebox Citrus IPA Fourpure Brewing Co (5.9% abv). The juiciness of the IPA really mellows down the heat of the chilli to create the perfect mix of chilli bitterness and citrusy sweetness. Also the sharp bitter ending of the IPA compliments the sharp edge of the chilli. Overall this is a fab combo, with the flavours of the chilli and garlic going down more smoothly with the beer, making you want more.[/su_column][/su_row]

Spring Onion & Italian Cheesew/ Hawkeshead Northern Imperial Stout

[su_row][su_column size="1/2"]Soffles pitta chips, beer and food pairing for the Beer Yeti review, London Craft Beer[/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]We paired this with the Northern Imperial Stout Hawkeshead Brewery at a whopping 9.5% abv “ouch”. This rich brew brew really brings out the richness of the cheese, making it more distinctive and fuller. This is definitely a match made in beer heaven, as the sweetness of the onion matches the sweet vanilla notes of the stout perfectly.[/su_column][/su_row]

Rosemary & Thyme w/ The Wild Beer Co Epic Saison

[su_row][su_column size="1/2"]Soffles pitta chips, beer and food pairing for the Beer Yeti review, London Craft Beer[/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]We paired this one with the The Wild Beer Co Epic Saison 5% and it was a great match! The spicy, herbal flavours of Saison work beautifully to stand up to the intensity of the rosemary and thyme. It also really brings out the sharp dryness of the rosemary.[/su_column][/su_row]So overall Soffle's are the perfect accompaniment to your beer, so give these combos a try or make your own!Don't forget to check out their Facebook and Twitter too! This feature is a paid for promotion.
