Some of our Top IPAs to look out for!

So Christmas has ended, rather quickly! It’s the time of year where things seem slightly blue, so down at the Yeti Cave we’ve decided to brighten things up a little by cracking open some of the the hottest IPAs to look out for in 2017!..


Stroud - I.P.A. Pale Ale 5.6% abv

The Chiltern Brewery - Black IPA 7.8% abv 

This is part of The Chiltern Brewery's intriguing Black and White IPA combo! Lacons - Quell 5.4% abv

Love the description... a "Slightly misted golden IPA. Aptly named to ‘quell’ the thirst of avid beer drinkers that are seeking something unique, interesting and different to the norm. Its name pays homage to a period in our history when Lacons was nearly silenced forever at the hands of a corporate takeover."[su_row][su_column size="1/2"]A picture of pirate life , quell, stroud brewery, anarchy beer co, chiltern IPA for the Beer Yeti Indian Pale Ale feature review[/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Slightly clouded light amber/ golden, pours a frothy head that reduces slowly but stays with you and leaves a fair bit of lacing. Pretty carbonated.Aroma: Golden biscuit/ brown sugar with nice citrusy underlay and a pleasant touch of vanilla.Flavour: The vanilla/ biscuity sweetness is followed through with a nice little hint of sweet watermelon, counterbalanced by a citrusy bitterness in the finish.[/su_column][/su_row]VERY refreshing with lots of character!As you can probably see from the Greater Anglia Trains logo on the can, this brew is also available on their Norwich – London trains, so we'll definitely be planning a couple of trips on this line!It's also available on keg in selected pubs too.For more info, check out their Website, Facebook and Twitter.


Anarchy Brew Co - Knuckle Dragger IPA - 8.3% abv

Pirate Life Brewing - IPA 6.8%

This next brew comes from Pirate Life Brewing in Adelaide, Australia. They have just increased distribution by seven fold and are now gracing British shores! The Chiltern Brewery - White IPA 7.5% abv

As with the black, this one is also limited edition, bottle conditioned and aged for 18 months.
