Ilkley Brewery – Hendrix American Pale Ale 4.9% abv

Appearance: Crystal clear, light amber, slightly carbonated.

Aroma: Citrusy, with a dash of sweet honey and a slight tropical/ pine underlay.

Flavour: Clean, dry with a touch of sweet honey and a slightly sour finish.

A perfectly well balanced mix!

Harvey’s Brewery – Wharf IPA 4.8% abv

“Brewed with new hop varieties to create a joyful outpouring of fresh flavours from the bine.”

Appearance: Clear amber, with surging bubbles and a moderate head that reduces.

Aroma: A floral mix of sweet, citrus and honey, with the essence of freshly cut grass.

Flavour: A big bang of crisp, hoppy bitterness, followed by a subtle sweetness.

This beer awakens your senses as if you’ve just wandered into a brewery, smelling the hops circulating through.

Anarchy Brew Co. – Blonde Star 4.1% abv

From the award winning brewery based in the rolling fields of the Northumberland countryside. These guys always impress, both artwork and flavour-wise.

Appearance: Clouded light, golden, quite carbonated with a moderate head that turns into lacing.

Aroma: Sweet and citrusy, with a nice hoppy hit of grapefruit and a hint of zesty lemon.

Flavour: A burst of tropical sweetness, followed by a splash of passionfruit, finished off with a bitter grapefruit finish.

Nice, sweet, crisp and refreshing with plenty of bite!

South Hams Brewery – Stumble Bee 4.2% abv

Brewed with a subtle touch of honey, this hoppy ale has a little sting in its tail!” Won Silver in Food & Drink Devon 2016/ 2017.

Appearance: Slightly clouded, with a cracking white frothy head.

Aroma: Sweet honey, with a fresh notes of liquorice, blackcurrant and berries.

Flavour: Slightly grainy, with a delicate hint of honey, followed by a bitter hoppy hit in the finish.

Some beautifully subtle flavours, not too overpowering making it a cracking, well balanced brew!

RedWillow – Weightless Session IPA 4.2% abv

SIBA NW Regional Silver medal winner 2017 in Standard Bitters & Pale Ales up to 4.4%.

Appearance: Slightly clouded amber, slowly bubbling away creating a slightly off white head.

Aroma: Floral with a nice combination of tropical sweetness and slight dash of grapefruit.

Flavour: Very sweet, honey suckle, counteracted by a slight hint of bitter grapefruit.

Tailgate Grapefruit IPA 6.2%

Brewed in Nashville Tennessee and the official beer of tailgating!

Appearance: Clouded amber, with a slightly off white head.

Aroma: Tropical, with a touch of lemon zest, orange peel and a strong hit of grapefruit.

Flavour: Sweet and citrusy with a bang of grapefruit, finished off with a bitter hoppy kick.

Super refreshing, especially for one of those hot bank holiday weekends. Goes down well, but at 6.2% perhaps a little too well! 🙂

Appearance: Crystal clear, pale straw, slowly bubbling away with a moderate white head.

Aroma: Quite hoppy with a touch of sweet maltiness and a dash of citrusy, lemon zest.

Flavour: Slightly citrusy, with a hint of orange peel and a crisp, dry finish.

A cool, crisp taste of summer with every sip!

Cameron’s Brewery – Motorhead Road Crew 5.0% abv

A tribute to Lemmy’s song “(We are) The Road Crew”, this brew has been to 19 countries since its launch in December.

Appearance: Clear amber with little carbonation and a moderate head with a nice bit of lacing.

Aroma: Sweet, very citrusy with a splash of orange aroma and hint of treacle.

Flavour: A blast of citrusy orange with a subtle sweetness, followed by a hint of grapefruit in the finish.

Fabulously composed, this brew well and truly rocks!

 Bourgogne des Flandres 5% abv

The “real taste of Bruges”, matured in oak barrels for months, this is a blended beer with mixed fermentation, composed of a brown ale and a lambic.

Appearance: Deep, dark reddish glow. Bubbling fast, with a moderate brownish head that stays with you, leaving plenty of lacing.

Aroma: Essence of cherry and fresh fruit, creating a sweet sherry-like bouquet.

Flavour: A sweet, refreshing fruitiness, followed by a hint of liquorice and slightly sour finish.

Very warming and refreshing at the same time.

Framework Brewery – Citra Pale Ale Pattern #PA0007 4.2% abv

Appearance: Golden, with a slight haze, with a little carbonation and a white head that leaves a fair bit of lacing on the side of the glass.

Aroma: Very hoppy with a hint of pine, which is perfectly balanced with a touch of sweet honey.

Flavour: Sweet and citrusy, with a splash of passionfruit, finished by a bitter bite of grapefruit.

Well balanced and perfect the session ale! 🙂

Appearance: Crystal clear, light straw in colour. Carbonated with a minimal head.

Aroma: Sweet and quite herbal with a hint of spice and freshly cut grass.

Flavour: Quite light, with a subtle malty sweetness which is met with a bitter hoppy finish.
