Beer & BBQ Braised ribs

This takes a bit longer than our usual recipes... but trust me, it's worth it! We used Marston's Pedigree an English Pale Ale to cook with but any light ale will do. We would suggest pairing with an Amber or Brown Ale.Serves: 2 | Prep time: 10 mins | Cooking time : 3hour30What you need:1 full rack of ribs (preferrably chopped).1 tall can of beer or 500ml bottle.1 onion chopped.Your favourite BBQ sauce.Directions:Preheat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7Place ribs and onions into an oven-proof dish or tin that has a lid.Pour beer over until the ribs are almost completely submerged.Add a bit of seasoning, place in the oven, with lid on and leave to cook for 2½ hours.Take out of the oven, place the ribs on a tray and cover in BBQ sauce .Place in oven or BBQ for 30 mins, turning every so often and topping up BBQ sauce if required.
