The Chiltern Brewery - Battle Of Britain Old Ale 5.0% abv

This gluten free beer is brewed in association with RAF Halton. Also BeerYeti readers can enjoy a 5% discount when ordering 12 bottles or more!

Appearance: Crystal clear, autumnal, reddish/ brown, with a moderate head and a fair few bubbles.

Aroma: A cracking mix of red berries and cherry Bakewell, followed by toasted malts and toffee undertones.

Flavour: A blast of nuttiness, balanced out by a slightly sweet hit of burnt toffee, polished off by a dry, well rounded bitterness.

Pairing: Darkest Hour (2017)

Following the success of the inaugural Beer Town Film Festival, Marston’s Brewery are more than equipped to provide the  best entertainment to pair with any of their brews!

Appearance: Golden amber, with bubbles rising from the depths beneath.

Aroma: Sweet and hoppy, with touch of of pine, honey and tangerine.

Flavour: A burst of sweet citrus, met by a slight zesty tang, followed by a touch of bitter hoppiness.

Pairing: Star Wars Rogue One

Part of the Star Wars franchise, a daughter of an Imperial scientist joins the Rebel Alliance in a risky move to steal the Death Star plans. Marston’s will be screening this film on the 26th May and you can get tickets to the screening here!

Little Valley Brewery - Stage Winner 3.5% abv

Brewed with organic ingredients and using water from Pennines, this brew is a tribute to Yorkshireman Brian Robinson, Britain’s first Stage Winner and at 87 years is still on his bike!

Appearance: Light golden straw, with a slight haze and plenty of bubbles that leave a fair bit of lacing on the surface.

Aroma: Rich digestive biscuit and caramel followed by a touch of oats, raspberries and a delicate fruity underlay.

Flavour: Sweet, fresh and crisp, with a subtle hint of fresh fruit, strawberries, counterbalanced by a contrasting nutty, pine bitter finish.

Crisp, clean and well balanced, this one truly is a stage winner!
