Rogue Valley Fermentation Celebration
As the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon transitions from winter into spring, beer lovers enjoy the last sips of richer darker brews and gravitate toward bright pale ales. The Rogue Valley Fermentation Celebration uses this pivotal moment to explore the complex and unique flavors of hand-crafted beers and whiskeys from each of the region’s craft breweries, as well as a select group from other parts of the region.
Hosted at Harry & David Field, the Fermentation Celebration also features a live DJ and local food vendors to keep the festival goers rockin' all weekend long. This event is a destination for brew hounds from across the state, with an expected draw of upward of 5,000 visitors. The inaugural Rogue Valley Fermentation Celebration celebrates craft beer during the beer, but doesn’t leave out the other parts of the fermentation world. Whiskey, wine, cider and even kombucha will be on hand for revelers sipping excitement.
The Rogue Valley Fermentation Celebration will gather some of the best breweries and whiskeys from across the West. Get your tickets for either Friday from 5-10pm (VIP early entry 4pm) or Saturday from noon-10pm. The Rogue Valley Fermentation Celebration was inspired by the Little Woody beer festival in Bend and will take place this year on May 12th & 13th, 2017..
The Little Woody has drawn thousands to Central Oregon in the name of specialty wood-aged beers for the past six years. Beer was originally created and aged in wooden barrels. This traditional technique that Bend celebrates will also have a presence in Medford.
Whiskey, wine, cider and even kombucha will be on hand for revelers sipping excitement.
