Biking has become a huge part of the craft beer/ real ale scene recently. People planning rides with their pals, making sure that there are plenty of pub stops along the way! So what better way to celebrate your trail blazing ride than with these three EPIC biking brews!


abloc Bicycle Beer – 4.9%  abv

Crafted for cyclists by a cyclist who wanted to create the perfect beer for after a long ride. With added Alpine Minerals so you can “ride full gas again tomorrow.”

Appearance: Slightly clouded, light glowing amber, with a white frothy head and a slight fizz.

Aroma: Sweet, hoppy, citrusy with a hint of lemongrass and smoke in the background.

Flavour: Hoppy with a dash of sweet fresh orange, met with a dry bitter, refreshing finish.

Great combo of contrasting flavours and very refreshing too!

Hello Velo – Wold Top Brewery 4.2% abv

Appearance: Crystal clear, golden, straw in colour, slightly carbonated, with a head that reduces quickly and reminisces on the surface.

Aroma: Sweet honey and citrus, with a hint of freshly cut grass, pine, shortly followed by a hint of spice.

Flavour: Crisp, clean with a hint of orange and a bitter slightly herbal finish.

Very crisp and the perfect cleanser after the ride!

Summer Smiles American Wheat – Fixed Wheel Brewery 4.8% abv

Appearance: Clouded amber, with a moderate white head, bubbling slightly.

Aroma: Sweet hoppy, with a mix of fresh cut grass, pine and a hint of tropical grapefruit in the background.

Flavour: Very citrusy, with a splash of grapefruit, finished off with a moderate bitter finish.

Very tropical, perfect for kicking back while down the pump track!
