Box Steam Brewery Offers a Delivery Service, Whilst Helping the Local Community.

With the Covid 19 Pandemic, many independent breweries, pubs and bars are now having to find more innovative ways to get their produce into drinker’s hands. This is why Holt-based Box Steam Brewery are now offering “hand pump fresh” beer - bag in box, straight to ale-lover’s doors. The brewery that is inspired by Brunel’s famous Box Tunnel near Bath are also donating  £2.50 from each sale to the “Help your Hospital Hero” campaign, run by Forever Friends in aid of Bath RUH NHS staff.Andy Roberts, founder of Box Steam Brewery said, “We understand that for many a highlight of the week is sitting down with a fresh pint of beer at the local. Through this initiative we have the opportunity to bring the pub to your home by delivering “hand-pump fresh” cask beer to your door in a bag in box while also helping our local NHS in their fight against Covid-19. We have a great range of cask conditioned brands to choose from and can also deliver bottles too which obviously can be stored for longer.”“Pub in a Box” will include Tunnel Vision, Derail Ale, Soul Train, Piston Broke and Golden Bolt. On top of this, the brewery that is famous for their famous Cask Conditioned beers are also delivering nationwide and in bottles too, which they sent to us. This includes their slightly more crafty brews. One of the brews that really stood out for us was their Steam Time IPA. Box Steam say that they use “all of the best bits” of both UK and US IPA’s; a combination of Admiral, Cascade and Mandarina Bavaria hops. This creates a strong tangerine aroma, with burnt malts, a touch of liquorice and a well-rounded bitter finish.To grab their brews, check out their shop.
